Chad C. Meredith
Chad is a native of Sussex County, graduating from Seaford High School in 1996. While attending his undergraduate studies in English at the University of Delaware, graduate studies in architecture at the Savannah College of Art & Design, and law studies at Widener University School of Law in Wilmington Delaware, Chad lived in Delaware’s beach resorts during summer breaks, working in the area’s restaurant industry. While attending Widener School of Law, Chad was accepted into the school’s Judicial Externship Program, fulfilling its requirements at Delaware’s Court of Chancery, in Sussex County. Chad first joined the law firm in 2011 as an intern during law school, before joining the firm full-time as an Associate Attorney after earning his J.D. and passing Delaware’s Bar Exam in 2013.
Chad’s practice focus has been largely transactional. He has handled residential and commercial real estate transactions, from contract review through final settlement, as well as administrative issues related to real estate, such as municipal and county variance requests. Chad’s practice also includes small business formations, wills and estates, and liquor license applications and hearings. Chad is a member of the Delaware State Bar Association. He is also a title agent for First American Title Insurance Company and Old Republic National Title Insurance Company.
