Ronald D. Smith

Ronald D. Smith (Ron) is of counsel to the firm and practices in the areas of Bankruptcy, Real Estate, and Wills & Estates.

Mr. Smith was admitted to the Delaware Bar in December, 1979 and the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware in 1981. He is a member of the Delaware State and Kent County Bar Associations, and the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys.

Mr. Smith was elected to the Kent County Levy Court (the governing body of Kent County) from 1991-2006, serving as President (1993-1994).

Mr. Smith is a member, director, and past president of the Kiwanis Club of Dover and former Chairman of the Kent County Republican Committee (1987-1988). He also served as Vice Chairman of the Dover Metropolitan Planning Organization (1993-1994).

Mr. Smith graduated from the University of Delaware in 1973 with a B.A. in Economics and Political Science. He graduated cum laude with a J.D. from Delaware Law School of Widener College in 1979.
