Daniel L. Huestis
Daniel, or “Dan” to his clients and friends, began his legal journey as a law clerk with several firms in Utah while attending J. Reuben Clark School of Law, with a particular focus on Family Law, Civil Litigation, Mediation, and Criminal Defense. After graduating in 2018, he came to Delaware and entered private practice with Hudson, Jones, Jaywork & Fisher, LLC in Dover. While he first focused on Family Law in general, Dan now works with the unique challenges and creative solutions found in the fields of Divorce, Estate Planning, Probate and Trust Administration. Dan dedicates his time and talent to help clients reach their lifetime goals and protect their legacies through effective planning, including Wills, Powers of Attorney, Revocable Trusts, Asset Protection Trusts, and Special Needs Trusts.
Dan is originally from a large family on a dairy farm in the Green Mountain State. Dan attended Brigham Young University where he met his wife Rachel, a Delaware/Maryland native. Together they have welcomed home many additions to their growing family. With the free time he can find, Dan enjoys an eclectic mix of activity, from service in his church to ballroom dance and motorcycle riding.
