Michael G. Rushe grew up in Kent County. He is a graduate of Dover High School, The University of Delaware, and Widener University School of Law. He has been practicing law since 2007 and handles a wide variety of legal issues in every court in the state. However, most of his practice concentrates on the areas of family law, real estate transactions, landlord/tenant disputes, criminal defense and personal injury. Mr. Rushe currently serves as a board member for the Friends of the Capitol Theater, Inc. which is responsible for overseeing the Schwartz Center in Dover. He is a past president of the Kent County Bar Association, and has received an award for client satisfaction from the American Institute of Personal Injury Attorneys.
Mr. Rushe also serves as the public member from Kent County for the Real Estate Education Committee, which is responsible for making recommendations to the Real Estate Commission on issues surrounding the continuing education of Delaware Realtors. He also serves as an instructor for many real estate law classes at the Kent County Association of Realtors.
